AUS vs IND T20 2023: The five-match T20 series between India and Australia started on Thursday (23 November). The first match between the two teams was played at Visakhapatnam's Dr. Y.S. Played at Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium. India's newly appointed captain, Suryakumar Yadav, won the toss and opted to field. Australia set a target of 208 runs for the loss of three wickets in their allotted 20 overs. However, Team India secured victory by reaching 209 runs for the loss of eight wickets in just 19.5 overs. Rinku Singh hit a six on the last ball, but Sean Abbott's ball was no-balled. In such a situation, six was not added to Rinku's account.

Rinku led India to victory

India has started the five-match T20 series with a win. They defeated Australia by two wickets in a thrilling match in Visakhapatnam. This victory will bring some relief to the fans after the defeat in the World Cup final against Australia. Team India leads the series with a 1-0 advantage. The second match will be played on Sunday (26 November) at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

English century went in vain

Previously, Josh English achieved a remarkable century for Australia. He scored 110 runs on 50 balls. During this period he hit 11 fours and eight sixes. 
English achieved a run rate of 220.00 and forged a partnership of 130 runs with Steve Smith for the second wicket. Smith contributed 52 runs to the innings, while Tim David remained unbeaten with a score of 19. Matthew Short was dismissed after scoring 13 runs. Smith played an inning of 52 runs. Tim David scored 19 not out.
