India are set to finish fourth in the final.


India are set to reach the World Cup final for the fourth time. The first win came in 1983 when Kapil Dev beat the West Indies. However, they lost the final against Australia in 2003, with Sourav Ganguly as the captain. Eight years later, in 2011, India reached the final again, defeating Sri Lanka to win the title. Meanwhile, the Australian team is aiming for another win as they bid for the World Cup finals after eight years. Australia hosted the tournament in 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015, but setbacks ended in 1975 and 1996. Their most recent exit was in the 2019 semi-final against England
